Learn more about the performances
The Dineh Tah’ Navajo Dancers’ purpose is to educate and share with audience’s performances of traditional Navajo dances and songs of the Navajo “Diné” People and to give a deep understanding of the rich cultural traditions of the Navajo People. Under the direction of Shawn Price, the dancers are an outstanding group of young, talented and disciplined individuals whose performances spotlight their culture and in doing so, have received numerous accolades. Their unique program offers the finest in traditional and semi-contemporary performances.
For two years, the California Drums Alaskan Native Dance Group has brought together Alaska Native people living in Northern California to celebrate and preserve the traditions of our Southeast Alaska homeland. Through song, dance, drumming and language, we honor those who came before us while ensuring our culture continues to thrive for future generations. We are proud to share these traditions with audiences of all backgrounds.
