College of Letters and Science staff have been recognized with some of this year’s top awards from both the university’s Staff Assembly and the Center for Inclusive Excellence.
Staff Assembly honored multiple staff with its annual Citations for Excellence. The awards recognize contributions to campus in areas that include service, community, innovation and others.
The Center for Inclusive Excellence recognized Monica Fischer, Blue Cluster chief administrative office, or CAO, with an award for her years of effort promoting fairness, access and community well-being.
“We are very proud of our incredible staff in the college, and their contributions are instrumental in our ability to achieve our combined mission of teaching, research and service to society,” said Estella Atekwana, dean of the College of Letters and Science. “Please join me to thank these colleagues for their incredible service to our college and to UC Davis as a whole.”
