The College of Letters and Science at UC Davis has won two accolades for communications and marketing work in the 2025 Circle of Excellence Awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE.
“University communications play a powerful role in ensuring the value we produce achieves as broad a public impact as possible,” said Estella Atekwana, dean of the College of Letters and Science at UC Davis. “These CASE awards confirm the very high caliber talent and hard work of our Letters and Science communications team as well as the valuable contributions we make as artists, researchers and scholars at a world-class university.”
The prestigious international awards recognize exceptional achievement in advancement services, alumni relations, communications, fundraising and marketing.
In total, UC Davis took home the second-most awards among the 640 institutions that entered the competition, earning a total 10 awards for communications, marketing and development work. Institutions from 33 countries entered the competition.
“The Circle of Excellence Awards shine a spotlight on the extraordinary creativity, passion and innovation demonstrated by advancement professionals at institutions around the world,” said Sue Cunningham, CASE president and CEO. “These awards not only celebrate outstanding achievements but also underscore how essential this work is to strengthen educational communities and positively shape lives and society.”
