Graduate Exhibition Showcases Intersection of Health, Technology, Art, Design

From digital data and technology to the environment, healthcare and the body, graduate students from across the College of Letters and Science at University of California, Davis, are pushing boundaries with their experimental research and creative expression. The results, varied in medium and discipline, will be on display at the Arts & Humanities 2026 Graduate Exhibition.

Twenty-one UC Davis alumni have been selected to exhibit their artistic works alongside other emerging artists from UC Berkeley and UCLA as part of the 'Open Inquiry: UC Arts' exhibit at Sausalito Center For The Arts, March 14 - April 26.

Thiebaud Lecture Features Teju Cole and John Gossage, Spotlights Photography

John Gossage, photographer and bookmaker, and Teju Cole, a writer and photographer, will be the featured in conversation at this year's Betty Jean and Wayne Thiebaud Endowed Lecture at UC Davis. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will take place Thursday, Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m. at the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art.

‘Welcome to Davis’ Mural Celebrates City and UC Davis Legacy

Seongmin Yoo has been working with the Davis Mural Team for the last three years and has helped paint five different murals downtown. She is passionate about helping the local art scene thrive. Her latest effort welcomes residents, visitors and passersby into the city as they travel along I-80 through Davis. Featuring blue skies, green pastures, and some of the city’s most iconic imagery, Yoo’s “Welcome to Davis” mural is a celebration of art, agriculture and education.
