2024-25 Seed Grants for International Activities Advance International Innovation and Collaboration

The 10th annual International Connections Reception, hosted by Global Affairs on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, will bring together the UC Davis community to celebrate several award and grant programs, including the 2024-25 recipients of Global Affairs Seed Grants for International Activities. Partnering with UC Davis colleges and schools, the Office of Research and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Global Affairs provides Seed Grants for International Activities to faculty taking on innovative research, service and engagement projects around the world.

Seed Grant projects foster long-term international research collaborations, create innovations in internationalizing the curriculum in support of the Global Education for All initiative and grow or build global partnerships. Since 2001, the program has supported more than 290 diverse projects, generating significant international partnerships, research outcomes and external funding.

This year’s 13 projects bring together more than 34 researchers across UC Davis and partner institutions worldwide, fostering collaborations to advance groundbreaking discovery.
